Our Achievements

The Legal Literacy Event organised by Government School Matanhel provided a valuable platform for students to enhance their understanding of basic legal concepts, rights, duties, and the importance of legal awareness in daily life. This Statement of Purpose highlights the participation and achievements of G.D. Goenka Public School, Jhajjar in the programme.

Our school actively took part in two major segments of the event: the Quiz Contest and the PowerPoint Presentation Competition. A selected team of students represented G.D. Goenka Public School with dedication and enthusiasm, showcasing their knowledge and skills.

In the Quiz Contest, the team (Digvijay and Harsh from class-XI, Akshit from class-XII) answered questions based on the Constitution of India, fundamental rights and duties, legal institutions, cyber laws, and common legal procedures. With consistent performance and clarity of understanding, the team secured the 2nd Position, reflecting their strong preparation and presence of mind.

The PowerPoint Presentation segment focused on spreading legal awareness among young citizens. Our student Tanush presented a well-structured and visually engaging presentation on topic fundamental duties significance of being legally aware in everyday situations. Their presentation was appreciated for its content, clarity, and effective communication.

Participating in this event strengthened the students’ confidence, public-speaking abilities, teamwork, and knowledge of the legal framework that governs our society. The exposure gained through this programme has inspired them to be more responsible and informed citizens.

G.D. Goenka Public School is proud of its students’ achievement in securing the 2nd Position in both the Quiz Contest and PowerPoint Presentation.
